Medium-light white wheat body, with a hazy, pale yellow hue, and a frosty white head. German yeast esters meet Wit spices, and are complimented by Mandarina hops.
Hefeweizen beers hail from Bavaria and 'Weizen' means 'wheat' and 'hefe' means 'yeast', thus the cloudy appearance. Special yeasts are used to produce the hallmark aromas of banana and clove. The darker versions of this style are referred to as 'dunkels'.
